Shunte and David met on the sunny south side of Dallas in 2000. They both were out with their friends and he gave her his number. She took it and gave him a fake name, and the rest is history!

David asked for her hand in marriage early in the relationship, but they realized they had to face more obstacles than they envisioned. After growing together for multiple years, they decided to seize the opportunity and move forward with becoming one.

“YES! It was about that time!”

After the unity in 2010, they became a family of 9. In 2016, they both lost their fathers, but gained a little piece of heaven with a bundle of joy by the name of Micaela!

They are looking forward to growing their family with more grandchildren, but not too soon!
